St. Andrews Hymns: Safely Home
I’m quite enjoying St. Andrews Hymns: Safely Home, a new album of retuned and rearranged hymns. What stands out to me with this collection is that all the arrangements are singable for a typical congregation (I believe they were developed for corporate worship). And while the original tune for Come Thou Fount is still tops in my book, the St. Andrews version is tasteful and lovely. Favorite tracks on initial listen: You Came To Us, Always, Down At the Cross.
